About 60% of Japan's power consumption is managed by thermal power generation. Thermal plants can convert only 40% of heat energy into electricity. In addition, during transmission of electricity from plants to factories and houses, 5% of the electricity is lost.
Co-generation is the production of electricity using sole or multiple resources to produce electric energy and heat energy simultaneously. Aicello utilizes gas turbines as co-generators, which use LPG as fuel and are energy-efficient. Gas turbines are ideal sources of energy, as they do not discharge smoke, soot, and sulfur oxides. |
